I am sure most of you have heard of Dr. Kevorkian, also known as "Dr. Death". He is the man behind "physician-assisted suicide", claiming to have assisted at least 130 patients in ending their lives. He was in prison between 1999 and 2007 after being convicted of second-degree murder.
I saw him being interviewed on CNN, and decided to look for videos of him on youtube. I stumbled on a segment of his speech at Nova Southeastern University. In it, he talks about where America is heading. I couldn't agree with him more (except for when he says "under God" should not be in the pledge of allegiance, at the very beginning of the video).
It's hard to hear at parts due to people talking, but the overall point is clear.

You may want to rethink Posting Kevorkian. He is now being promoted on HBO in a new show. JBS says the Gov and their new health plan wants to condition people to think suicide is OK, thus promoting him.
ReplyDeleteAlthough at first glance this video gets a point accross, it may actually be dis-information. Note he says the States are fascists. (The States are actually our only hope to stop Federal Fascism). Also, you caught his objection to "under God". That should give it away that he is not on our side.
Dr. Kevorkian says that the flag he reveals "represents what this country now is becoming". He tells everyone in the crowd that they are all slaves who think whatever the government wants them to think. He calls America a war mongering country, and says "servitude is slavery". He quoted ben franklin in saying "the destiny of America is not power." He told the crowd they've been brainwashed to the point of having atrophic brains. And about the states, he said they are "sometimes worse than the federal government", not all of the time.
ReplyDeleteTherefore to me, he is clearly not on the side of big federal government. Don't forget, he spent 8 years in prison. At the time of this speech, there is little doubt that he is an individual not bought out by anyone, stating his mind about the state of the country.
I disagree with him on his point about religion, but that doesn't take away from the rest of his speech.
